I am a Professor in the Department of Linguistics at UC San Diego. My main (but not only) area of interest is discourse interpretation, studied from the perspectives of theoretical linguistics, computational linguistics, and psycholinguistics. Explore the links above and below to find out more about me.

I direct the department's Computational Linguistics Lab. My students are Eric Meinhardt, Gary Patterson, and Till Poppels.
