I am a first-year student at the Department of Linguistics at UC San Diego. My interests include syntax, morphology, language documentation, and language revitalization. I am particularly inclined to working with languages from Mexico, ranging from the Mayan to Oto-Manguean to Yuman families. For instance, I have worked on second-position clitics in Ch'ol (Mayan), their semantic contribution and syntactic-phonological requirements for attachment. I have also worked on switch-reference and inverse marking in Ja'a Kumiai (Yuman).
