I presented a poster at the International Workshop on Pharyngeals and Pharyngealisation at Newcastle University in March 2009. The poster looks at differences in heritage versus non-heritage Arabic speakers' production of vowels following pharyngealized fricatives.

I completed my master's thesis at the University of Washington in 2008: A Comparison of Egyptian Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic Sociolinguistic Variables through Formality Effects. Feel free to email me for project details.
