I'm Page Piccinini (pronounced /pit∫t∫inini/ or "peach-ee-knee-knee"), a sixth year Ph.D. candidate at University of California, San Diego. My research interests are bilingualism, psycholinguistics, and phonetics. I work in the UCSD Phonetics Lab under Dr. Marc Garellek.
Born and raised in Northern California, I ventured into the Midwest for my undergraduate degree, was beaten by the harsh winters, and am now in Sunny Southern California. I like to read and imagine going on crazy vacations, which more often than not end up happening. The photo is me taking a break from talks at the 2014 LSA in Minneapolis to blow bubbles and watch them freeze in the below zero temperatures.
Please feel free to contact me about my work or anything else!
